The IOSH Managing Safely course is a 3 or 4 day course designed to help managers and supervisors gain the practical knowledge, actions and tools they need to handle the safety and health issues they are responsible for. ​It is suitable for all sectors and content can be tailored to your sector and organisation. Syllabus​ Introduction to managing Safely Assessing Risks Controlling Risks Understanding Responsibilities Understand Hazards Investigating Incidents Measuring Performance ​ Duration The course is 22 hours in duration and is run over 3 days. The course is delivered via virtual classroom on Zoom. Maximum delegates 20 per course. Assessment Delegates undertake a multi-format exam on the final day of the course. Additionally, all delegates must submit a small Risk Assessment project no later than 2 weeks following the final day of the course. ​Certification Those who pass will receive an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
