The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid is a 2-day, Ofqual-regulated course designed for those working with infants and young children. It meets all requirements set out in the Department for Education’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.

The Paediatric First Aid course is designed for anyone working with babies and young children.
It covers everything from CPR and choking to allergic reactions, seizures, and common childhood conditions — all in line with the EYFS statutory framework. This 2-day course leads to a Level 3 qualification, valid for 3 years.

Assessment. There are practical assessment for a variety of activities such as CPR, Recovery Position etc. Delegates will also complete a short multiple-choice based assessment at the end of day 1 and day 2.
